Lesili Beard is a frequent soloist and recitalist performing many genres as a vocalist and instrumentalist.  She received a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Duquesne University, and continued music pursuits in New York City, where she enjoyed a rich life as performer, recording artist, composer and producer.  Her interest in film scoring created opportunities in Los Angeles and she moved west.

In the early 2000’s, Ms. Beard began studying classical voice, opera, languages and diction.  Her professional singing career includes numerous productions with Long Beach Opera, Opera Pacific and L.A. Opera.  Ms. Beard is a Teaching Artist partnered with the Music Center.  She currently performs with the Guild Opera Company, the Grammy-nominated Los Angeles Master Chorale, the Master Chorale Chamber Singers, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the world-renowned Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers.  She is the soprano soloist at St. Edmund’s Episcopal Church in San Marino and is the Music Artist-in-Residence at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach.
