Dabney Ross Jones, soprano
Dabney Ross Jones started her singing journey while attending West Los Angeles College. Mrs. Jones had the intentions of acquiring a degree in Art History. From the encouragement of her Voice teacher at the college, she changed her major to music.
Mrs. Jones has performed with several local and major opera companies, including Repertory Opera, Celestial Opera, El Dorado Opera and L.A. Opera. She recently made her San Francisco Opera debut this past summer in Porgy and Bess.
She has essayed the roles of Leonora, in Fidelio, Mrs. Mc Clean in Susannah, and is currently preparing the role of Fiordiligi.
She has performed with the Albert Mc Neil Jubilee Singers in their 2008 Tour of Germany where she Soloed on the stage of the Berlin Philharmonic.
